They are comprised of the first leaves that appear in spring after a period of dormancy during the Himalayan winter. These first teas of the season are the finest. The infusion is bright golden-amber and the aroma and flavor are sweet-floral with an elegant briskness and lingering aftertaste. First flush Darjeeling is very pleasant mild astringency, and truly \"champagne-like\" aroma, make it a must-try for any Darjeeling lover. Most of us are familiar with Darjeeling Tea, but few have tasted an authentic Darjeeling Tea.
