Recipe: Soyflour Halwa

• 1 cup soya flour 2 ½ cups sugar
• 4 Cashew A pinch of kesari powder
• ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder Ghee as required

• Make a batter by mixing soya flour, water and kesari powder.
• Boil sugar with water to make a sugar syrup
• Add the mixed batter to this and stir well
• When it starts thickening, add ghee and stir nicely
• When the mix starts leaving the sides of the pan, add cardamom powder and cashew and stir well.
• Transfer to a plate greased with ghee, cut it into pieces once cool.
