Ingredients: Bajra (Pearl Millet) Recipe: Jowar ki roti (Bhakri): Have a wholesome meal with hot Bhakri’s Ingredients:- ½ kg - Jowar (Sorghum) flour Warm water – As required
- ½ teaspoon Salt
Method:- Mix salt and water as required in jowar flour and knead it into soft dough.
- Make around 12 round balls out of this dough
- Sprinkle little jowar flour on a flat surface, keep the ball on it and start flattening the ball in circular motion until you make a round shaped roti.
- Heat a Tawa and put the flattened roti on it
- Now spread some water on the bhakri with the help of a wet cloth, and then turn it to cook the other side also.
- Now remove the tawa and hold it with spatula over direct flame. Turn it and roast well from both sides until small black dots appear on the bhakri.
- Serve it Hot with curd, vegetable or some butter on top.
