 Product Description:
Copper Lota Jal Neti Pot: This is a 100% pure copper Jal Neti Lota with a capacity of 500ml. "AUM" is embedded on both sides of the pot which imparts spirituality.

Copper Neti Pot naturally cleanses, refreshes, and protects the nasal passages, one of our body's first lines of defense against illnesses. Recommended today by doctors and pharmacists worldwide, the Neti Pot has been used for thousands of years in Ayurveda (Jal Neti) to alleviate sinus and allergy problems. Neti in Sanskrit means "Nasal Cleansing".

Nasal irrigation or nasal lavage is the personal hygiene practice in which the nasal cavity is washed to flush out excess mucus and debris from the nose and sinuses. It has been practised in India for centuries as one of the disciplines of yoga. Clinical testing has shown that this practice is safe and beneficial with no side effects.

Suggested Use: Add 1/4 teaspoon of a Pure salt into the neti pot - impure salt will irritate. Then add luke warm Filtered water - do not add chlorinated water - this will irritate the nasal tissues. Do not tilt your head over too far to the side when irrigating your nose with the neti pot. If you do, water will get into your ears.

Tilt your head slightly forward and slightly to the side - just enough to get the water to flow to the opposite side. No more than 30 degrees to one side is good. And tilt your head forward about 30 degrees as well.

The technique is not as hard or uncomfortable as one may think at first. You will be pleasantly surprised at this simple and effective method of health maintenance.
